The Practice

About the Firm

Nyaga Dominic & Co. Advocates is a Nairobi-based legal and advisory practice focused on complex commercial, regulatory, and cross-border matters. The firm serves corporates, investors, institutions, private clients and public-sector actors operating across East Africa and in international jurisdictions.

The practice is built around a single organising principle: that serious legal and advisory problems require structured thinking, and that the most valuable advice is not the most voluminous. The firm works on matters where analytical clarity and institutional judgment produce measurable outcomes.

Its advisory foundation draws on experience across banking and project finance, technology regulation, cross-border commercial structuring, AI governance, and institutional advisory work. The breadth reflects the reality that consequential legal questions rarely sit neatly within a single practice area.

How We Work

The firm approaches each matter through structured analysis, clear scoping and direct communication. Work begins with a precise definition of the client's legal or commercial question. The firm then applies legal, regulatory and commercial analysis to identify material risk, and produces advice that is specific, actionable and practical for decision-makers.

The standard is straightforward: advice should enable a decision.
